Children have a hard time expressing their emotions sometimes so sometimes colors are associated with feelings. For example, blue could mean their happy, red could mean they’re angry, purple could mean that they’re sad, etc. Giving children a tool to express how they feel, especially if they are nonverbal, can help them learn that it is okay to express their feelings.
